30 Day Money Back Guarantee
If you are not happy with a product that you have purchased from us, bring it back within 30 days of the original purchase date for a full refund (except radar detectors, DIRECTV components, Special Orders, and installed mobile electronics- see below). The 30 day return does not apply to uninstalled mobile products nor to iPods. Cash refunds over $50 will be paid by check from our corporate office and mailed within 10 business days. To receive a full refund, the product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Products that are not returned/exchanged with all items intact will result in a prorated credit being issued to you based on the cost of the missing items.

Radar Detectors, DIRECTV Components, Portable Navigation, Apple and Portable Personal Electronics
Refunds cannot be given on radar detectors, DIRECTV components, Portable Navigation, and Portable Personal Electronics. However, defective radar detectors, DIRECTV components, Portable Navigation, and Portable Personal Electronics may be exchanged within 30 days from the original purchase date or upgraded to a different model. Any exchanged DIRECTV components must include the original access card. DIRECTV components can be purchased by a credit card only. To receive full credit for an exchange, the product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Products that are not returned/exchanged with all items intact will result in a prorated credit being issued to you based on the cost of the missing items.

30 Day Low Price Guarantee
If you find an item that you have purchased from us selling for a lower price within 30 days of your purchase at an authorized dealer located within 25 miles of the store of purchase, show us proof and we will refund you the difference. This guarantee does not apply to “percent-off” sales (ad must reflect actual price), mail orders, limited quantities, floor models, liquidation sales, and going-out-of-business sales. Advertised products must be factory-sealed boxed products with identical model numbers. Competitor’s ads must also support sufficient stock and not be one-of-a-kind items. We will not match the price of a retailer who advertised a lower price and does not have any merchandise in stock. Advertiser mistakes that are recanted in print do not apply.

Apple iPod Return Policy
Tweeter cannot accept for return or exchange any Apple iPod after 7 days from purchase. If a customer encounters a problem, they are always best served by calling the Apple toll free customer service number 1-800-SOS-APPLE directly at any time after purchase.

60 Day Defective Exchange
Should a product you bought (other than mobile electronics, radar detectors, and DIRECTV components) from us become defective within 60 days after the original purchase date, we will replace it with a new one. To receive full credit for an exchange, the product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Products that are not returned/exchanged with all items intact will result in a prorated credit being issued to you based on the cost of the missing items.

Special Orders
Special orders require a 50% non-refundable deposit. Special orders are non-cancelable and not returnable. However, the 60 Day Defective Exchange, the 120 Day Home Audio Trade-up, and the One Year Speaker Trade-up programs do apply to special orders.

One Year Lemon Law
If a product that you have purchased from us has been repaired three times by our service department (excludes routine maintenance checks) within one year from the original date of purchase, we will issue you a credit for the original purchase price when the product needs to be repaired a fourth time. In order to receive 100% credit, the product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Products that are not returned/exchanged with all items intact will result in a prorated credit being issued to you based on the cost of the missing items.

90 Day Service Repair Warranty
Repaired units from our service department are warranted against defects and workmanship for 90 days from the date the unit is picked up. This warranty is void if the unit has been damaged by lightning, a voltage surge, vandalism, abuse, or any act of God. Units must be picked up within 30 days from the date of completion. A certified letter will be sent after this time. If the unit is not picked up within 15 days of the date of the certified letter, the unit may be discarded or sold.

Home Audio

120 Day Home Audio Trade-Up
You can trade up any home audio component purchased from us within 120 days of your purchase and receive full credit for exactly what you paid towards the full retail price of a more expensive home audio component. This program does not apply to product that was discontinued at the time of purchase. The trade up product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Trade-ups not accompanied by all of the required materials will result in a prorated credit being issued to you towards the new product.

One Year Speaker Trade-Up
You can trade up one pair of home speakers purchased from us within one year and receive credit for exactly what you paid towards the full retail price of one new pair of home speakers with a value at least 50% greater than the original pair. This program does not apply to product that was discontinued at the time of purchase. The trade up product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Trade-ups not accompanied by all of the required materials will result in a prorated credit being issued to you towards the new product.

6 Months In-Home Installation Guarantee
Our in-home audio/video specialists can help you design a home entertainment system that fits seamlessly into your home or business. Then, our professional installers will integrate that system into your living environment. Because we are very confident in the expertise of our installers, we guarantee our in-home installation work for 6 months. Should you incur a problem with your products and have purchased one of our AIS Performance Packages we will come to your house, remove the item, have it repaired, return it to your home, and reconnect it - all at no charge. If you have not purchased an AIS Performance Package, we will repair your products under the manufacturer’s warranty and the current labor rates for removal and reinstallation will apply.

Mobile Electronics
All parts are new, they are not used, rebuilt, or reconditioned.

Quality installations are our top priority. Our installers are certified by the Mobile Electronics Certification Program. We are very confident in the expertise of our installers. This is why we will guarantee our installation work for as long as you own your vehicle. Defective products will be covered by the manufacturer’s warranties if they have not expired. Defective products not under warranty can be repaired by our service department for an additional fee.

Free Mobile Electronics Reinstallation
Any products purchased from and installed by us will be removed and the original factory equipment will be reinstalled at no charge when it is time to sell your vehicle or turn in your lease. This program is limited to factory equipment replacement. Custom installation is not included. Any reinstallation of non-factory equipment is subject to the current installation charges.

If Tweeter / HiFi Buys / Showcase / Sound Advice installs your Mobile Electronics:

To receive a full refund, the product must be in like-new condition with all packing materials, accessories, and manuals intact. Products that are not returned with all items intact will result in a prorated credit being issued to you based on the cost of the missing items. Cash refunds over $50 will be paid by check from our corporate office and mailed within 10 business days.

If a mobile electronics component shows evidence of a defect within 30 days after we install it, we will install a new component free of charge. After 30 days, there will be a $15 charge to remove the defective component and a $15 charge to reinstall the component when it is returned from our service department. These charges are waived if an AIS Performance Guarantee was purchased for the component.
